Impact Wrestling Results (10/20) – Dixie Regains Control, New World Heavyweight Champion!

Bill Pritchard

Kurt says they have Sting, who fought the bad guys at Bound For Glory, and Dixie, who is the reason he joined Immortal in the first place. He says he thinks they were planning for Bobby Roode to be out there, but he is going to represent the company as the champion, and says he made Roode look like a loser. Roode comes out and tells Kurt he has a tainted victory and calls him pathetic for cheating to win the match. He says all of his dreams and goals were put in that match, and Kurt screwed him and he calls the actions bulls**t.

Sting says he saw what happened too, and says Roode got screwed, so since he has power he is making a rematch for later tonight. Kurt smiles and tells them they won't have a rematch because he added a stipulation in the contract that said it was a one time only match. Kurt tells him he is a threat and he is the real deal, but he screwed him and asks him what his partner's catchphrase is. Before he can say it, James Storm's music plays and he makes his way down to the ring to confront Kurt. He asks if there is a stipulation that prevents them from having a match, because Kurt screwed everyone, and when he screwed Roode he did it to Storm too.

Storm says Sting can be the one to fix this problem, and says the fans want to see it, but Kurt says he needs to stop right there. He tells him to stop drinking so much, because there are a bunch of guys in front of him for a shot at his title. Sting interrupts him and says he likes his new job and tells Kurt to shut up, because he will defend his title tonight against Storm! Roode says he finally remembers what his partner says, and tells Kurt sorry about his damn luck, then leaves a pissed off Kurt in the ring as he leaves with Storm, Sting and Dixie.
