More In-Ring

Sheamus’s music begins to blare through the speakers in the arena as he makes his way out to speak to the fans and Triple H. Sheamus reminds Triple H about the time he attacked him with a steel pipe while he was delivering a speech. Sheamus follows up by saying that Triple H gave him the biggest ass kicking of his entire life for it, and he wasn’t ashamed to admit it. Sheamus goes on to say that though they’ve had their differences, he has a lot of respect for him and added he was not going to take part in “parking lot shenanigans”. He said he came that evening to be a part of Monday Night Raw and that’s what he was going to do. At that point CM Punk’s music begins to play. Punk blames himself for the walkout as soon as he enters the ring. He said the men in the parking lot didn’t get what he was trying to do or what point he was trying to prove. Punk said he thrives on the “unsafe work environment” in a company that brings such events as Hell in a Cell saying, “this is professional wrestling, not ballet.” to which the crowd begins to cheer. Punk asked what they should do now, in which Triple H repled they would do what they normally do on Raw, shut up and fight.

John Cena vs. Sheamus

With special guest referee Triple H in the center of the ring, the match is formally announced as the bell rings and the match begins. CM Punk announces himself the ring announcer and time keeper, however not even a minute into the match, Punk sends it to commercial break. Coming back from commercial break the match is still in progress until the sound of Vince McMahon’s music sounds in the arena.

In-Ring (During Match)

Vince makes his way to the ring and says he needs to have a chat with his son-in-law, Triple H if that was okay. Cena and Sheamus both step out of the ring as they are thanked by McMahon for standing up for what they believed in. Vince continues on that he believes in Triple H. Vince goes on to say that he is concerned that there could be a financial catastrophe and turns to Triple H to say his services are no longer needed. Triple H has a smile on his face, but the crowd begins to boo McMahon. Vince tells the crowd that the board is looking for someone independent of the entire company. He says while they search for someone, they have appointed someone else to be the interim COO, as he announces John Laurinaitis as the replacement. The crowd begins to boo and chant “you suck!” as he walks to center stage with a sly smirk on his face.
