Wrestlezone is pleased to announce that WZ’s own Nick Paglino will be appearing in the upcoming video game entitled “Wrestling Manager!” The game is set to parody the wrestling world in a “serious” way and will include characters such as “The Overtaker” and “Rod Van Damn.”
Players start out as a Backyard Wrestling Promoter with the dream of one day becoming the next Vince McMahon. They will be responsible for booking matches, signing talent, picking venues, hiring referees, etc. As their fan base grows, so will their responsibilities as they take their events on tour and eventually sign TV/PPV deals.
The folks who are developing this over at Serious Parody assure us that the game will see release in the very near future across the various iOS platforms and they describe the game as FIFA’s Ultimate Team meets Game Dev Story but within the pro wrestling industry.
