Kurt Angle Speaks: Warrior Realism, Acting Future, 2012 Olympics

Kurt AngleTNA Champion Kurt Angle was recently interviewed by Sam Strayer on the latest edition of "Fight Week," presented by Sherdog.com. Angle speaks on a number of topics, including what it was like to work on the film "Warrior," how true to MMA the fight scenes were, how lead actors like Tom Hardy held up during the fight scenes, his own future in movies, and training for the 2012 Olympics. Angle on training for the 2010 Olympics: "Everybody knows I'm trying out for the 2012 Olympics, I've been training for the last 5 months, I've got my weight down to 215, I'm wrestling at 211.5, I'm doing really well, I'm healthy and the main thing is staying injury free."

On his acting career: "You know I've always wanted to be an actor, after the Olympics. And I got into pro wrestling because I wanted to be an actor and I figured that would be a good platform for me to start. So now is my time, I'm near the end of my wrestling career with Impact Wrestling…and I want to take the next step in my career."
