Complete WWE NXT Results For 8/2/11

First match is Vladimir Kozlov in gangster attire versus JTG. Kozlov is dressed exactly like JTG, and he wins.

Tyson Kidd comes out saying that he wants his WWE to be back like it was in the days of Davey Boy, Hitman, Pillman, not the type where they worship figurines/dolls/action figures and parade around with stupid music like Yoshi Tatsu. Really good promo

Main event is Darren Young & Derrick Bateman vs. Titus O'Neil and Matt Striker. Striker comes out to his old teacher music and AJ & Hornswoggle show up to the biggest pop pre-Smackdown holding hands. Striker looks like he has on some spare trunks and boots they have lying around. Bateman & Young are in control most of the match as they basically beat up Striker until a hot tag brings in Titus O'Neil who cleans house and gets the pinfall victory. All of them come in and celebrate.

Also to note on NXT, the pros were nowhere to be found. Not sitting on stage, not in their rookies corners…Kind of struck me as odd. I figure they just got as sick of how horrible the show has become as the rest of us.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
