More on Gen Me’s TNA Release, “Xplosion Challenge” Update

Source: PWInsider.com

It’s being reported that Generation Me actually requested their release back in late June, which would put to rest any rumors that they asked for their release due to the job they did at Destination X this past Sunday night.

It’s being said that one of the reasons why the tag team wanted out of TNA was because they were never booked for house show events, and as such only worked three TNA tours this year. The team has gone back to being referred to by their former ROH name, The Young Bucks, and are now taking indy bookings.

Impact Wrestling star Magnus took on Shannon Moore in the Quarterfinals of the "Xplosion Championship Challenge" at tonight’s Xplosion taping prior to Impact in Orlando. Alex Shelley faced "The Pope" D’Angelo Dinero in the tournament last night. Both matches will air overseas, with Magnus vs Moore airing in 2 weeks and Shelley vs Pope airing next week.
