Another Fan Account of TNA’s “Basebrawl” Event in Brooklyn

Thanks to Bob Smith for sending this in:

One of your readers commented on how horrible the VIP experience was for the TNA BaseBrawl event in Brooklyn, NYC. I sat 3rd row on the dugout side where the wrestlers came out. There was some confusion about seating but security went thru our section and checked out tickets for the VIP stamp and for the wrist bands.

Not only did they do that but they also extended the barriers closer to the entrance where the wrestlers came out to add additional seating for people who had the correct tickets and bands which gave they great seats both viewing and getting to see all the wrestlers as they entered and exited right next to them.

They also got a great view into the dugout where many of the wrestlers sat after their matches. Also D-lo Brown was there and signed autographs. As for not meeting any wrestlers they had a set up that had 2 lines one for the BBQ and one for the wrestler meet and greet. At the meet and greet were Angelina Love, Winter, Cookie, Orlando Jordan, Amazing Red, Crimson, Eric Young, Robbie E, and both British Invasion.

The main difference was last year you went on the field to meet them this year it was back in the picnic area which made sense since there was a BBQ. They also had Devon and RVD signing on the concourse and a pic section with Mickie James for $10. Earl Hebner also did a signing and Jeff Jarrett signed at the end of the night.

They also did a great deal where your whole group can get in the ring and take a pic with AJ Styles and Kurt Angle for $20. Was it as good as last year NO, but still a good experience with good matches and unexpected winners. Flair was kept completely in a different room for the signing and never came out to the fans in the arena.
