Billy Gunn & A-Train Updates; New Age Outlaws Returning In TNA?

Earlier today, WWE.com confirmed reports that had been circulating about Billy Gunn and A-Train being released from WWE. Although we don’t have all the details just yet, here is what we can tell you.

Matt “A-Train” Bloom was out with an injury and they just simply had no return plans for him. WWE rarely releases talent out with injuries due to the possibility of a lawsuit being filed.

Billy Gunn (Monty Sopp) had been in hot water for the last several months. Gunn attended several TNA Impact! tapings several months ago and we believe he knew he was on his way out. He was also found passed out in an airport several weeks back and WWE had insisted that he go to rehab. As for where he goes from here, you’ll likely see him in TNA, possibly reforming the New Age Outlaws with Road Dogg. TNA could always do a 3 Live Kru vs. New Age Outlaws type deal where it’d be Gunn & Road Dogg against the duo of Konnan and Ron Killings.
