More has come in (and we expect even more) regarding the Bob Holly/Rene Dupree shoot that broke out at the Smackdown house show on Sunday.
Holly gave Dupree a legit chairshot to the head, legit punches, and legit kicks during the match due to what is believed to be just a case of him snapping over several different issues the two have had backstage over the past few months. As reported earlier, Dupree has a lot of heat on him backstage with a lot of guys, but especially Holly because he was driving Holly’s rental car and got a ticket in it. Holly then had to fly to another city to get the ticket taken care of.
Dupree has been a big disappointment within WWF both from the perspective of management who had high hopes for him. It’s really hard to imagine that Holly’s actions will be considered acceptable by management. We’ll keep you posted.
