TORONTO–Dec. 7, 2004–ExtendMedia today announced that it has been working with World Wrestling Entertainment® to improve WWE.com, including numerous enhancements for WWE® fans.
WWE.com is the premier destination for WWE fans on the internet, providing exclusive online access to WWE programming, products and services to nearly 7 million fans each month. The new site features a new graphical interface and improved navigation and layout scheme that makes it even easier than ever to access WWE Superstars and Divas, RAW®, SmackDown!(TM), live events information, live video webcasts, pay-per-view events, branded merchandise, online auctions, fantasy league games, and much, much more.
ExtendMedia worked closely with WWE to design and develop the new site. Additionally, ExtendMedia has been commissioned to re-launch WWE’s corporate and affiliate marketing sites, and to develop a comprehensive content management and publishing infrastructure for all of WWE’s websites.
“WWE.com is a critical content distribution and marketing channel for us, and we chose ExtendMedia for their proven delivery capabilities,” said David Knise, Vice President of Interactive Development at WWE. “Their extensive experience designing, developing and commercializing consumer content services makes ExtendMedia an ideal partner to help us deliver WWE programming online”.
“WWE sets such a high bar creating programming for its fans, and we felt tremendous pressure to deliver a new site that exceeded fans’ expectations,” said ExtendMedia founder and CEO Keith. “I think we’ve done that here, and this continues to be a really great partnership.”
