Vince McMahon continues to rave backstage about JBL as the current champion and has no plans to take the belt off him. It is expected that he will hold the title until at least WrestleMania.
The feeling among many backstage last night was that Armageddon was just another flop. There is some concern within talent that WWE is doing all the wrong things to try to make things work. As we reported last night, Paul Heyman was not backstage at the PPV despite agreeing to be an on-air character as well as working again as a ‘consultant’. The fact that he wasn’t backstage at the PPV is something that bears watching.
