Recap of The Rock on The Ellen DeGeneres Show

Thanks to Judd for sending along the following:

The Rock was on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” this morning. Here is a recap.

He said he just got back from vacation in Hawaii with his family.

He talked about his three year old daughter Simone. She is doing well and her favorite movie is “Finding Nemo”.

They showed a picture of the Rock when he was 3 years old. He told a story about when he was 8 years old he sat on Santa Claus’s lap and joked about being 5’10 or 5’11 at 8 years old.

They showed clips of “Be Cool”. He said he was an honor to work with Vince Vaughn, John Travolta, Harvey Keitel and Uma Thurman and he was excited to work with those actors. Ellen mentioned how he was the first one to join the cast.

They went to commercial and when they got back the Rock talked about how his favorite doughnut is a doughnut called “malasada” from Hawaii. It is closed with no holes and sugar on the outside similar to a glazed doughnut with the exception being that it has no holes. You eat it with ice cream. Ellen made him one and he tasted it and said it was excellent. Ellen mentioned that you can get malasada at Leonard’s bakery in Hawaii.

That was the end of what was a very interesting and enjoyable conversation with the Rock.
