  • Tony Sefton Suffers Serious Ankle Injury

» Tony ‘Superstar’ Sefton regrettably informed IPW management over the weekend that he suffered a currently un-diagnosed ankle injury, and is currently on crutches to aid his movement. Even without the results of his scans returning yet, Doctors have 100% ordered Sefton to withdraw from active participation in next week’s Best of British event (and I’m told, other events also – check local listings for more). As such, the match between himself and ‘Sadistic’ Jack Storm has been officially cancelled.

Jack Storm will still be in active competition against an opponent to be decided, and Sefton will be fulfilling his booking by stepping in as John Atkins’ guest in the inaugural “Atkins Asks…” segment, to speak about the injury for the first time in public.

  • High Flying Spectacular Set for BOB2

» In order to help showcase the diversity of the IPW:UK talent pool, and to show people what they missed out on at Best of British 1: High Flyers this past January, IPW management have signed a spectacular high flying contest for May 22nd.

Many backstage are predicting that much like with the first chance four-way from March’s IPW:UK show Return of the Dragon, the better people perform in this contest, the higher their chances of returning to IPW. This is proven by the fact that Andy Boy Simmonz, who won the four way from last time out, has a chance to make his way into the Best of British: Heavyweights match.

The first two men in the match are the courageous Paul Robinson, and the athletic Ashley Reed. Robinson made his IPW:UK debut in March and while unsuccessful in his bid to become the first chance four-way victor, he have been handed another life line for May 22nd. Reed, also a product of the Dropkixx training system, much like Robinson, narrowly missed out on a spot last time out, but after re-doubling his efforts has been handed his chance to shine at Best of British 2. More later this week.

    In Other News:

    — Speaking of last March’s first chance four-way, “Jake”, who made his un-scheduled debut at Return of the Dragon, will be in Andy Boy Simmonz’ corner as he attempts to make it into the Best of British: Heavyweights match on May 22nd.

    — Bring lots of money to Best of British 2 if you’re coming, as tickets to our next shows will be on sale, as well as WrestleStuff merchandise, past DVD’s and the Orpington raffle!

  • Therefore the current card stands as:
