With the WWE Draft Lottery set to begin on June 6, various different items associated with the angle have been making rounds backstage.

As was the case last year, WWE does not plan to give WWE wrestlers prior notice of intentions to draft them to the opposing roster. WWE wants to maintain the shock value of the brand switches, which can be best achieved by keeping the wrestlers in the dark.

By including the option for GMs to trade until the end of the month, some of the drafted wrestlers might be sent back to their original rosters. There is also talk of including a “re-draft” option, whereby those drafted early in the month could later be drafted back home. But, because such a policy seems counterproductive in nature, if the option is included, don’t expect it to be used too frequently.

It is also not known if those drafted will immediately move to the new roster, or if WWE will make all switches after the draft comes to a close.
