PRESS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION

  • Harry ‘Bulldog’ Smith To Come To IPW:UK For The “Weekend of Champions”

» In his UK debut, the son of the late great Davey Boy Smith – The British Bulldog, Harry Smith will come to IPW:UK this July. At the tender age of just 18, Smith has already competed across the Globe, recently making his first foray into Japan and having dark matches with the WWE. He hasn’t, however, made his competitive debut in England. But, come July 16th, he will have. Teaming together with Andy Boy Simmonz, Smith will look to continue the family’s strong tag team history this side of the pond, after previously holding tag straps in Canada with fellow “Stampede Bulldog” TJ Wilson.

Tickets to this spectacular double head “Weekend of Champions” are now on sale by either calling the Kent box office on 07780 677007, or heading over to www.ipwuk.com and clicking on “Tickets”.

  • “Teacher & Student” Ashe & Kris Linnell Enter Into Tag Tournament Frey!

» After forming as a strong unit at Return of the Dragon and picking up the win over the two-some of The Chav Army – Flaming Red & Battalion. However, their team success was cut short after falling to those same Chav’s in the Ghetto Brawl at Best of British 2.

With both teams at one a piece in respective competition, Ashe & Linnell requested that they be paired off once again in the opening rounds. However, due to the system of entry, since they are the third team to be signed, they will compete in the third match-up against a team yet to be announced.

  • Chavs For The Title?

» When they were offered the chance to enter the #1 Contendership Battle Rumble on night 1 of the Weekend of Champions, it was pretty obvious that the Chav’s weren’t going to say no. After all, if they win, that’s more gold for them that they don’t even need to steal.

However, IPW management didn’t think that when they offered “The Chavs” a spot in the rumble, that everybody would say yes. Therefore, since they made the offer, IPW management have stuck to it. Entering the IPW Battle Rumble are; Flaming Red, Battalion, Peter Nixon, Smokey & Bandit. Applications for “Mr. Chavvy” (inanimate object) & Lil G (not pro trained) were turned down.

    In Other News:

    — After clarification was asked of him earlier this week, Aviv Maayan confirmed that even if he is “cheated out of the #1 Contendership”, he will still be in attendance to wrestle on WoC Night 2.

    — At the UK Fan Convention on the Sunday afternoon, it has been confirmed that there will be an Xbox wrestling computer game competition. Rumour has it that fans will even be able to play as some of the Custom IPW:UK wrestlers on the game!
