After Lita and Edge went back to the back, Kane was still in the ring. Simon Dean came out and said he wasn’t there to fight Kane, He (Simon) wanted to be Kane’s friend and then he started talking about how Kane was a shell of his former self, and he had went over the Edge. At the sound of Edge, Kane turned and glared at Simon but Simon went on to say he didn’t blame Lita for leaving Kane because of his pasty, white, out of shape body. Kane then grabbed Simon, chokeslammed him and pinned him.
