Rhyno’s Planned TNA Surprise Spoiled; Backstage News

It should be noted that Rhyno’s debut at the TNA No Surrender pay per view this Sunday, July 17, in Orlando, FL was originally suppose to be a surprise. Rhyno confirmed his debut on the “Get in the Ring” radio show recently.

TNAwrestling.com issued a press release hyping the July 19 TV tapings two days after the No Surrender PPV in Orlando, FL. They noted that if some fans were unable to get in the tapings that night, TNA will be showing the event on screens just outside of Soundstage 21 at Universal Studios.

TNA stars have been pulled off of Gladiator Championship Wrestling and WrestleReunion shows. The reason for this is that TNA stars have an “exclusivity clause in regards to PPV” in their TNA deals, basically they can’t work for any promotion that plans on releasing taped footage onto PPV. WrestleReunion had to drop NWA champion Raven, Ron Killings and BG James from their August event, and Gladiator Wrestling had to drop Shane Douglas, Jerry Lynn, and Raven from their October event.
