There was no sign of Matt Hardy backstage prior to his appearance on RAW. His surprise attack on Edge was kept well under wraps, and was not common knowledge in the locker room. He also left the arena straight away after security dragged him backstage. One backstage source said “He came in, did his thing, and left.”
