Trouble For Smackdown, & Former WWE Sponsor Goes Bankrupt

Tim Brown

Thanks to PWInsider.com for the following:

— Former WWE sponsor Stacker 2 has filed for bankruptcy under the weight of more than 100 wrongful-death and injury lawsuits filed against them, stemming from the effects of their weight loss pills.

— Smackdown in the Washington D.C. market was moved to Sunday night from 7:00-9:00 p.m. this week due to the Washington Nationals baseball game. Things will get even worse for WWE Smackdown next month, when it moves to Fridays. They will be getting preempted a lot through the end of September due to baseball in several markets, including New York.
