Returning WWE Star Wins Ring Of Honor World Title

James Gibson might be departing Ring Of Honor too early to be named the MVP of 2005, but the end of his run with the promotion certainly won’t be accolade-free. The returning WWE superstar won the Ring Of Honor World Championship Friday night in Dayton, Ohio.

Gibson, known to WWE fans as Jamie Noble, was the victor of a four-way match that also featured CM Punk, Christopher Daniels and Samoa Joe.

As was the case with CM Punk’s victory in June, the fact that he possesses a WWE deal adds intrigue to the situation. Ring Of Honor had repeatedly mentioned that Gibson will satisfy all August dates, but for how long he will hold the title is not yet known.
