WWE’s Move To USA, Steve Austin Update, John Cena

Brian Cantor

The following are notes from Linda McMahon’s conference call with investors (courtesy PWInsider.com):

– WWE is extremely excited about returning “home” to USA Network. USA has planned an “awesome” launch for WWE, and the major push will begin next week. It was, of course, noted that even if RAW’s ratings dramatically increase on USA, they will still receive the same yearly fee.

– The Marine will release in the first six months of 2006. Scenes were recently re-shot to allow for a PG-13 rating.

– WWE Films is still negotiating with distributors for Steve Austin’s film The Condemned.

– Linda McMahon put over the increase in live event attendance.
