  • Breaking News: Jonny Storm Able To Appear At The IPW:UK Anniversary Show!

» Hold the presses, stop the tabloids – Jonny Storm, scheduled to compete in America and be unable to wrestle on the IPW:UK Anniversary Show this September 25th, has made it possible to appear, one year to the day after his debut for the promotion at it’s inception!

How this affects the scheduled Martin Stone vs. Jody Fleisch match, it’s currently unknown. Fleisch was offered the title shot, and signed to the bout on the basis that Storm could not make that date. Whether Storm will now deny his long-term friend the shot and take what’s rightfully his is completely up in the air. More news on Storm’s opponent, and how this changes the IPW:UK Title match (if at all), as soon as we get it!

  • Stone Outraged At International British Star Jody Fleisch Being Named As His Opponent!

» In what was coined ‘an amazing twist’, IPW:UK officials recently named JODY FLEISCH as Martin Stone’s shock title contender for the biggest show in IPW history. Coming in as the understudy for fellow contender Jonny Storm, Fleisch takes the shot while his best friend was supposed to be competing in the States.

Fleisch offered a few comments, which first centred on how pleased he was for the opportunity, and secondly, set to assure Jonny Storm that should he defeat Martin Stone to become IPW:UK champion on September 25th, Jonny Storm would be first in line, ranking or no ranking, to face him for the title.

Martin Stone, however, offered a few more… ‘select’… words on the issue. To summarize, Stone isn’t elated at this choice. Having been a student of the recent UK travels of Fleisch prior to his near 2 year absence from wrestling, Stone has seen how competent Fleisch is against men twice his size, such as the now retired British heavyweight Flash Barker.

Confident and cocky as ever, though, Stone says while he’s unhappy at the shock contender, nobody is on a par with him – not even Jody Fleisch – and that come 11:59pm, September 25th, Martin Stone will STILL have the IPW:UK Title, firmly around his waist.

    In Other News:

    — Aviv Maayan has suffered a quite serious injury to his ankle on a recent northern show. He is currently relaxing on holiday, and we should have a full update as to the status of his match at the One Year Anniversary show very soon.

    — As was confirmed the other day, Vampiro will be appearing for IPW:UK on November 13th. Keep your eyes glued to the website for more on that.

  • Therefore the current card for September 25th stands as:
