— Former WWE writer Rudy Fischmann was said to have been extremely in favor of giving the women on WWE TV a more important role in storylines, rather than just walking around in bikinis. Right now the feeling in WWE is that the segments don’t need much thought put into them, and are basically just nice breaks between matches. WWE management also felt he hadn’t been around long enough to have the right to express feelings that something wasn’t being done right. Fischmann argued that better storylines and actual matches would increase approval amongst female viewers.

On September 5, they put Torrie Wilson and Ashley Massaro in a match on RAW. The match was so bad that Ashley cried when she got backstage.

Rudy Fischmann was fired the next day.
