Despite earlier reports stating that some in TNA were upset that Matt Hardy chose to return to WWE instead of going with a TNA deal, TNA President Dixie Carter showed no hard-feelings when speaking with Jeff Hardy at the Unbreakable PPV a few weeks ago. Carter was overhead telling Jeff to “say hi to your brother Matt for me” at one point in their conversation. As heavily documented before, Matt Hardy called Dixie the night before his surprising appearance on WWE RAW to let her know that he re-signed with WWE. Even though he informed Dixie of the move, Matt refrained from informing his brother Jeff, parents and even close friends.
Speaking of Hardy, he remains highly optimistic regarding a long-term push in the WWE. Those close to Hardy are said to be watching the situation very closely in an attempt to find out if Matt is honestly hopeful of a WWE push or if he’s realizing he’s made a mistake and is putting on a front.
