Bam Bam Bigelow was in a motorcycle wreck yesterday in Florida. He is currently hospitalized and in the critical care unit. The injuries, however, are not life-threatening.

ABC.com has a story on tonight’s RAW return to USA Network with a lot of quotes from “Sir” Adam Nudleman of “Get in the Ring” radio. It touched on such topics as the RAW vs. Nitro war, the recent Muhammad Hassan incident, and praised WWE for the Owen Hart tribute show and shows dedicated to the troops in Iraq. It noted wrestling is popular in Mexico and Asia, and even mentions TNA. You can read it online at abcnews.go.com.

The Montgomery Advertiser in Alabama has a story on tonight’s “TV war” between WWE and UFC. The reporter said he doesn’t think Spike TV can beat or even compete with USA tonight in the ratings. That is pretty much acknowledged by everyone following the story anyway.

For those interested, Matt Hardy will be wrestling Jerry “The King” Lawler this Thursday, October 6, in Southaven, Mississippi, in the main event of Memphis Wrestling’s big Hurricane Katrina Relief Night event. Also appearing will be Koko B. Ware, Bill “Superstar” Dundee, Rock and Roll Express and many others. (Thanks to Greg O.)
