After talking to several people within WWE who are close to the situation, PWInsider.com reports that WWE taking Jim Ross off the air and his medical problems are not at all related. WWE did not remove JR from RAW as a way of giving him time of, but rather simply because they want young, fresh faces on the show.
Management was aware that Ross had been very uncomfortable lately and had a doctors appointment coming up, but still booked the angle on RAW anyway. The main feeling within the company right now, both with Ross’ allies and those who aren’t, is that the McMahons completely disrespected him and also hurt their faith and trust in the people running the company.
There still aren’t any confirmed plans for what will happen this Monday on RAW.
