Mark Copani, better known to pro wrestling fans as former WWE superstar “Muhammad Hassan” has recently located to Los Angeles where he has been looking for acting work. He is a student with acting coach Howard Fine. Apparently he’s had a couple of auditions so far, but no call backs.

The subsite of wwe.com for the next Raw pay per view, New Year’s Revolution, has opened. Not much to the site yet, just a preview of the two announced matches and historical photos from last years event. You can view the site at wwe.com. (Thanks to Judd)

Mick Foley was on the morning radio show here in El Paso and was discussing WWE’s trip to Afghanistan. They talked about the current state of Afghanistan and how there is a big illiteracy problem there and how the women are treated differently. Foley was then asked about Eddie and he said that last year when the WWE went to Iraq that he and Eddie roomed together and Foley said the highlight of the trip was getting to know him. He went on to say that Eddie’s death was tragic because even though he beat his demons the damage had already been done. One of the hosts then asked Foley about wrestling being fake. Foley’s response was “yeah wrestling is fake…there are a lot of guys out there faking that they are not injured.” Foley concluded with saying that you need to check out the Afghanistan show even if you are not a wrestling fan. Then surprisingly he said that the wrestling is pretty bad in a couple of matches, (here’s a spoiler) especially the “SANTA” match that he was in. (Thanks to Matthew Santillan)
