Edge and Lita were very uncomfortable with the sex segment on RAW, according to PWTorch.com, although it is unlikely that they displayed too much public resistance to the angle.
The relationship between Edge and Lita never took off, and since the breakup, Edge has reconciled with his wife. Thus, the “live sex” was understandably awkward for the wrestler.
Edge, however, has a reputation for doing what management asks. He did have a limit as to how far he would go with the “sex,” but he was not going to reject the angle altogether.
Lita is known as a very private person and has reservations about playing a “slut” character in response to her affair with Edge going public. The sex only further enhanced that character and fused real-life with storyline.
