More Off-Air Notes From RAW; RAW Roulette Dark Match

Thanks to reader John Brunette for sending in the following:

I went to Raw tonight here in Vegas and it was a good show.

The first Heat match was Matt Striker against a local enhancement talent and Striker won with his neck breaker. Justin Roberts handled the ring announcing duties for Heat.

The next match was Victoria against a woman named Beth who had black hair. Victoria got a massive pop when she came out which is surprising since the last time she was on TV, she was a heel. Anyway, Victoria pretty much dominated and won with the Widow’s Peak and got a pop for it.

Our next match was Charlie Haas vs. Rob Conway. It was a good match as Haas was waaaaaaaaaaaay over with the crowd and won the match but I can’t recall how. To me it sounded like after he won, they played different music but I could be wrong.

The next match was Eugene vs. a Snitsky clone. Eugene did all his usual bits and won with the stunner.

The Heat main event was Lance Cade vs. Carlito. It kind of shocked me to see Carlito on Heat but he was by far the most over guy of the tapings as the crowd loved him. I’m sorry but I can’t remember how he won but it could’ve been with his back cracker. The building was pretty full as the only empty seats were behind the hard cameras which is to be expected.

Now when the show ended which I don’t know where but Shawn was stretchered out of the arena. Edge then came out and said the show’s not over yet. He had Lita spin the Raw Roulette wheel and it landed on a street fight. We had a good title match as they brawled all over the arena including throwing each other into the stage. At one point referee Mickie Henson got knocked down and Cena went for the FU, but Lita low blowed Cena. Edge then got out of the ring and grabbed the WWE Title and nailed Cena with it but only for two. Cena went for You Can’t See Me but Lita grabbed his leg to stop it so he grabbed her and Edge went for the spear but hit Lita which then lead to an FU for the pin.

All In all, it was a good show with the crowd loving Cena for most of the night and popping big for ECW which is surprising since they never came out here.
