As part of New Japan’s 3/6 35th Anniversary show, the promotion showed videotape of Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, Scott Steiner, Dean Malenko and Bob Backlund all congratulating the company for 35 years in the business, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter

Based on Nielsen Media Research’s fast national numbers, last night’s Friday Night Smackdown scored a 2.8 rating.

Candice started talking about a blog feud she has been having with Melina on a recent radio interview. Melina has been claiming Candice is only in WWE because of her looks. Candice said pulled her latest blog because it shoots on Melina and WWE didn’t want it to take away from the feud Melina has right now with Ashley. Candice then said her resume is longer than what Melina can read. Candice said she is in WWE because she wants to learn how to wrestle, not to be on TV and Melina puts her through a lot of “bullsh*t.”
