According to reports, Jeff Jarrett was said to be strongly against offering Sting a new contract at the rumored $500,000 per year rate. TNA President Dixie Carter rejected Jarrett’s plea and Carter reportedly delivered the contract for Sting to sign.
In some more Jeff Jarrett related news, he has been overheard telling X Division wrestlers backstage that he wants their matches to move as quickly as possible. Jarrett even went as far as to tell them that he wants their matches to resemble “video games” with plenty of action and stunts.
Jarrett is still believed to be on bad terms with is father Jerry Jarrett, who was originally part of TNA since its inception in 2002.
