Big Evening Update: Lashley, Conan/WWE, WM23, More

ECW Heavyweight champion Bobby Lashley is on the April/May cover of military magazine ‘Salute’. The magazine is only available to military bases in the US and overseas and is free of charge. Lashley is a former US Army Sergeant and is the subject of an interview in the magazine. He’s the first WWE Superstar to appear on the mag. (Thanks to Colin Vassallo)

Conan O’Brien was doing a “lullaby” segment on last night’s (April 2) show. During the part where the baby was supposed to be turned away from the TV, he showed clips of “horrifying things”, including Sanjaya, a man on Fire, and Vince McMahon getting his head shaved. Just thought it was a funny thing. Apparently, so did guest Quentin Tarantino.

Phil Mushnick’s comments about Bigelow’s autopsy in yesterday’s New York Post: “The result of the autopsy on Bam Bam Bigelow was released, last week: Drug overdose. But no big deal, just another dead pro wrestler; there have been scores of them. It’s not like it’s important news, like Donald Trump jumping in with Vince McMahon.”

I’ve just finished uploading 186 pictures from Wrestlemania 23 weekend, which included the premier of Austin’s new movie “The Condemned”, Midday Madness autograph signing, Fan Access, the Hall of Fame ceremony, Bacon, Bagels & Biceps Brunch and Wrestlemania 23.
