WWE officials decided that Chris Benoit would be keeping the title at WrestleMania when the decision was made to not send him over to RAW. It was never 100%, but it was the on-paper plan and the reason Benoit didn’t appear on television much in recent weeks.
Curt “Mr. Perfect” Hennig’s father Larry “The Axe” Hennig had asked that they play the “Rap is Crap” song from WCW during his induction, but they didn’t go with the idea and instead chose to play the Mr. Perfect theme.
In the 2008 version of the Smackdown vs. Raw videogame, the plan is to have âECW Invasionâ written over the logo in purple lettering on the box.
