Christian Cage, Kurt Angle, Jay Lethal, and Samoa Joe will be appearing at this Sunday’s Northeast Wrestling event in Bristol, CT this Sunday.
Team 3D, Austin Starr, Christy Hemme, and Jerry Lynn will be appearing this weekend in Virginia for Hermie Sadler’s UWF.
Bob Backlund will be starring in the independent comedy “In the Land of Merry Misfits” which will screen at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City next month.
TNA has a house show tonight in Louisville, Kentucky at the Louisville, Gardens. The main event is Christian Cage defending the NWA Title against Kurt Angle.
Regarding the angle at the end of TNA Impact last night, the decision (at least as of this week) is that it will be sold as a major injury angle and Abyss will disappear for a few weeks. He won’t be wrestling at Sacrifice and no doubt will return for an angle where he is a big babyface and has to go through all the members of Team Cage.
