Stephanie McMahon hired three new writers last week with previous Hollywood experience. One of them has knowledge of WWE dating back to the 90s, but doesnâ<80>~t know much about any other promotions.

Stephanie McMahonâ<80><99>s latest job promotion makes her one of the most powerful people in the company, as it put her in charge of talent relations meaning that John Laurinatis official answers to her. She will likely have more input into what wrestlers are signed to the company as well as the company payroll which Jim Ross is still in charge of. Kevin Dunn remains in charge of TV production while Shane McMahon is in charge of â<80><9c>Global Mediaâ<80>.

For the bizarre news bit of the day, Brian Kendrick was asked in the most recent issue of WWE Magazine how he got the original ring name of Spanky. Kendrick confessed that when he was on the road early in his career he would do all sorts of things to stay awake and one of those things was â<80><9c>spanking it.â<80> He said that most people thought that the nickname came from the Little Rascals.
