WCW Nitro Girls, WWE SummerSlam, Cena, More

Former WCW Nitro Girl Kimberly Page has relaunched her website, KimberlyPage.com. Not many wrestling-related things on the site, although her WCW past is acknowledged in her bio. There is a video montage of her work in films, including clips of her appearances in The 40 year Old Virgin (her breast is censored in the clip though) and Seabiscuit. She still does acting, but she is now an interior decorator as well. Also, she lives in Salt Lake City, Utah nowadays. Furthermore, RF Video conducted a shoot interview with Kimberly this past weekend while she was in town for the Wrestling Reunion convention. This is her first ever shoot interview and it should be coming out soon. A lot of interesting topics were discussed including what led to her divorce from DDP, if WWE was ever interested in bringing her in, her thoughts on how WWE used DDP, her take on the Tammy Sytch/syringe backstage incident in 2000, the “Nitro n*pple” incident involving Nitro Girl Chae in 1997, if she has any least favorite Nitro Girls, if any people were jealous of her, the Booty Man/Booty Babe gimmick, working with Marc Mero, her reaction to the death of Miss Elizabeth, DDP & her allegedly “swinging,” if she still misses wrestling, and much more.

Commercials for WWE’s Biggest Fan Contest are currently airing on ESPN. Strangely, WWE has yet to air a commercial for the contest on their own programming. Individuals with the best 15 videos win tickets to SummerSlam and some sort of red-carpet event that same weekend in New York City in which they can mingle with WWE Superstars and Hall of Famers. The top winner, which will be voted on by a panel of WWE judges, receives $25,000. Visit Ziddio.com for more information on the contest.

The Sharon-Herald out of Pennsylvania noted that WWE stars John Cena and The Boogeyman both received write-in votes by Mercer County residents voting for names of local politicians that would be eligible for fall balloting. These were gag votes obviously.
