Harry Smith’s WWE Status, WSX Contracts Expire Today

Harry Smith has relocated to Florida Championship Wrestling, WWE’s new developmental territory. The group plans on running a few shows, although it’ll probably take at least the entire summer before they have things totally up and running.

The WSX contracts expired today, so everyone is a free agent. There are a few rumors going around that Matt Sydal will be going to WWE. They haven’t been confirmed, but he’ll likely get a few tryouts in the near future at least. Sydal is 5-7, and WWE usually only looks at wrestlers who are at least 6 feet tall.

The Citizens’ Voice, which is a community newspaper based out of Wilkes-Barre, PA, has a picture of the McMahon limosuine explosion on the cover of their newspaper. This story is also on the front page of the website. The newspaper notes that McMahon is alive and well and that it was simply a stunt, but they also say that his supposed death caused quite a stir in the town of Wilkes-Barre. The newspaper notes that concerned fans and curious media members across the country called the Wilkes-Barre Township police and Wilkes-Barre City police to inquire about the explosion.
