In the month of April, WWE averaged 7,726 fans at live events, up almost 13% from the same period last year. WWE also averaged a $262,684 live gate in April 2007.
WWE updated projections for recent PPV buys. Wrestlemania 23 is currently at 1,169,000 world wide PPV buys. Backlash is at 195,000 buys (125,000 domestic buys).
Carlito’s brother Eddie Colon recently reclaimed the WWC Universal title in Puerto Rico. Eddie remains under a WWE developmental deal and is said to be technically sound but doesn’t show alot of charisma and lacks size.
Former WWE developmental diva Angel Williams was introduced in AAA as Canadian Angel by Konnan.
