Tons Of News: Shocking Updates On Sherri’s Death

– Prior to her death, Martel had done limited independent shows due her lower back injury, an injury that made travel hard and bumping impossible.

– According to a police report, Martel had been outside the morning of her death and complained that she didn’t feel well.

– Martel and husband Robert Schrull had been living next door to her mother. The couple had bought Sherri’s mother a trailer when she was making money in wrestling. However, she had not been doing well financially, and badly needed lower back surgery due to constant pain. She apparently was hoping WWE would offer to pay for her surgery during the weekend she was inducted into the hall of fame.

– Before her death, WWE was considering hiring Martel as a female agent to work with the lady wrestlers. Genichiro Tenryu in Japan was also interested in bringing her to Hustle.

– In a strange note, when TNA used Martel as a possible manager for Robert Roode, Terry Taylor needed her social security number to cut her a check, but she tried, without success, to get paid cash on the spot.

– Rick Karle, WBRC sports director was once again interviewed on the Fox News Channel Friday Night.

– Karle said police returned to the scene where Sherri Martel died in Alabama on Friday, two weeks after she passed away. The police would not divulge what investigators were looking for.

– Karle said Martel has a drug history. She was fired by WWF in 1993 for failing three drug tests, and was let go by WCW for showing up to work impaired at a television taping.

– Martelâs sister told Karle that Martel used to smoke marijuana, and that she recently got out of rehab. Her sister said she seemed clean.

– Her husband in St. Petersburgh, FL claims he found Sherriâs body in a bedroom, but her sister claims Sherri dead on her front porch while having coffee with her mother. She apparently felt dizzy and collapsed.

– Karle said that most people around the situation believe drugs were involved in Martelâs death. Her sister , in fact, believes drugs were a factor. In fact, a possibility is that she may have accidentally taken some of her husbandâs prescription medication.

– Karle is now hearing that autopsy and toxicology reports may not be completed for upwards of one year.
