Scott Steiner is recovering well from his throat injury and may return to TNA as soon as this Monday’s iMPACT! tapings. It’s expected that he will make a full recovery. Steiner will be wrestling at All Japan’s 8/26 Sumo Hall event.
SpikeTV will air a “Road To Victory Road” special this Saturday night (or Sunday morning if you will). The special will feature an exclusive match. It will be Petey Williams vs. Jerry Lynn vs. Senshi in a three-way bout. This is the first time an exclusive match has aired on the “Road To” specials on SpikeTV.
Traci Brooks will be doing the monthly TNA conference call this Wednesday, July 11 at 2:00 PM ET/1:00 PM CT. A TNA official noted callers to limit questions to TNA. Brooks will not discuss anything related to the Chris Benoit situation. WrestleZone.com will have live coverage of the conference call tomorrow.
TNA Wrestling plans to run all 12 of its Pay-Per-View events on the road and outside of Orlando in 2008. The company has held several PPV events outside of Orlando already in the past year (Detroit, Nashville) and those events were very successful.
TNA’s official website is currently being redesigned. Set to debut on late August to early September, the new page will feature more news and videos plus other new features.
