According to a report by WTVF Channel 5 in Nashville, NFL star Adam “Pacman” Jones has either signed or is expected to sign a short-term deal with TNA Wrestling.
The report later stated the signing was supposed to be kept secret until Jeff Jarrett returned from a trip out of the country either today or Tuesday.
We can also independently confirming that this story is indeed true for those finding it hard to believe. For those unaware, Jones (who plays for the Tennessee Titans) was suspended by the NFL for a year after he was linked to a Las Vegas shooting at a strip club over the NBA All-Star weekend. As noted earlier, news of Jones’ signing with TNA is expected to give the company some mainstream publicity, even if it won’t be good.
