Mysterio & Triple H Lose Muscle Mass, Backstage News

Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch defeated Paul London & Brian Kendrick in a dark match that took place before the SummerSlam PPV went on the air. It was said to be a good match.

Rey Mysterio and Triple H were victorious last night in their return matches at SummerSlam. Both men were out for months due to injuries and both returned with noticibly different physiques. Triple H’s body had less muscle mass but was as lean and cut as it has been in years. The time off gave him the chance to focus on developing more of an athletic body type and he was not at all “bloated”.

Although it was covered in silver paint for most of the match, it clear that Mysterio’s body has also changed quite a bit since he was last on television. He now has much less muscle tone and appears to have gained approximately 10-15 pounds. The physique change could be a result of WWE’s recent strictness of the Wellness policy, although Mysterio claimed in an interview last week to have never taken any steroids.
