During ECW on Sci Fi, a commercial aired for the Friday Night SmackDown!/ECW on Sci Fi TV Taping in Indianapolis, Indiana on Tuesday, September 25. It was announced during the commercial that a special main event dark match would take place. “The Animal” Batista will team up with The Undertaker to take on the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, The Great Khali and Mark Henry.
WWE will be taping Monday Night Raw this Sunday night in Columbus, OH. The show will feature the return of Linda, Shane and Stephanie McMahon as regular characters on TV along with lawyers to further the “illegitimate son” angle.
WWE (#1) and UFC (#2) were the top two searched items on Yahoo! yesterday.
UFC President Dana White recently commented on Brock Lesnar coming to UFC and had the following to say about it: “I am pretty much going to guarantee you right here that the UFC will get him. Lesnar should have started with us, but weâll be happy to have him. We are all booked up through 2007, but we would like to have him start after the new year.” As reported on this past weekend, Lesnar was in attendance at the UFC 74 “Respect” event this past Saturday night in Las Vegas. Although Lesnar was not shown on camera, he reportedly met up with White to discuss a deal.
