It’s been rumored for months and now its as close to official as ever. TNA iMPACT! will be expanding to two hours within the next month. The first two hour episode could take place as soon as the October 5th show.
TNA iMPACT! will remain on Thursday nights and will continue to be taped in Orlando. At this point, it would be too expensive to take the show on the road and go live each week.
SpikeTV is said to be pleased with TNA’s current ratings and are not expecting an increase when the show gets a second hour. It would be considered an accomplishment for TNA to be able to keep their entire audience for the extra hour.
