The Times Union newspaper out of Albany, New York is reporting some false information in a recent article titled “Steroids raid still reverberating.” The poorly researched article claims that Batista has been suspended because he was implicated in a steroid investigation. It also lists superstars Santino Marella and Oscar Gutierrez (Rey Mysterio) as being suspended. Given the fact that both Batista and Mysterio wrestled last night, and Santino was on RAW last week, it’s not too hard to figure out that they aren’t suspended. The article also lists Simon Dean (Mike Bucci, who was recently fired) as being suspended. Obviously the article was put together very quickly and lacks several facts.

Today marks John Cena’s one-year anniversary of winning the WWE Heavyweight Championship. On September 17, 2006 in a TLC match Cena defeated Edge for the title.
