Bischoff Gets Screwed On Dinner, Piper Cancels, Chavo

There was a special charity dinner with Eric Bischoff at the 2007 WrestleFanFest in San Francisco over the weekend. The entire appearance fee from Eric’s appearance was to have been donated to a Children’s Hospital on Eric’s behalf (if the organizers had any money to spare, which they probably didn’t). Anyway, the “dinner” was basically a simple Q & A session because the food didn’t arrive until a few minutes after it was over. He only had until 7:30 p.m. to speak and he wanted to keep going, but whoever was in charge didn’t let him. He posed for pics, signed autographs and thanked people for coming before leaving. There were about 50 people in attendance.

“Rowdy” Roddy Piper was scheduled to do a stand-up show on Saturday, but the turnout was so low that he ended up doing a Q & A session instead.

Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Chavo Guerrero Sr. aka “Chavo Classic” tried to get into a fight with a fan after he was eliminated from the 34-man battle royal.

You can now watch Bret Hartâs appearance on TSNâs Off the Record on their official web site.

This past Tuesdayâs edition of ECW on Sci-Fi did its strongest rating in 17 weeks among the 18-49 year old demographic, doing a 0.95.
