WWE was awarded the gold medal from Corporate Event magazine in Mobile Marketing for the 2006 Fan Axxess tour. The magazine honored WWE’s excellence in live event marketing strategy.

WWE is hoping that Matt Hardy will be able to work tonightâs SmackDown tapings in Long Island, New York. Hardy wanted to work Sundayâs Cyber Sunday pay-per-view but the medical staff refused to clear him because they felt like there was a good chance that the stitches in his head would open up. The medical staff notified Vince McMahon of the risk and Hardy was pulled from the event.

This past Fridayâs edition of WWE SmackDown scored a 2.6 broadcast rating.

Former World Wrestling Entertainment Vice President Tom Barreca recently signed with Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia as senior vice president of digital and emerging media.

According to Variety, The USA Network are scheduled to air Steve Austinâs â~The Condemnedâ on the network, sometime in the future. This will be part of a deal with Lionsgate.
