WWE & TNA News: Bret, PPV Buyrates, Hogan/Playboy

Damn this is one busy week here on the site. We’ve just been overloaded with news and rumors. Thanks for continuing to visit and support the site. It’s much appreciated!

XtremeFalls43 sent this in: On ESPN’s 1st and 10 they discussed whether or not the NFL should bring back Pacman Jones to football earlier then his full suspension since he’s meeting with the NFL Commissioner tomorrow. While discussing it his wrestling stint came up and TNA probably wishes it didn’t. Skip Bayless was adamant that his involvement in wrestling really hurt his chances of coming back early especially when one show went head to head with the NFL. Jermele Clark tried to defend his stint in wrestling by saying while it was stupid to get involved with it what do you want him to do for 4 months. Both agreed however that he should of never went into professional wrestling and numerous times discussed how his name has been out of the papers. So just like when the Pacman story broke their was no mention of TNA and they pointed out the lack of attention the stunt got after the first couple of shows.

Our best wishes and a Happy Birthday go to Bobby Heenan. He either just underwent or is about to undergo serious jaw replacement surgery. Bobby Heenan turns 64 today.

Bret â~The Hitmanâ Hart is scheduled to be on Sundayâs Wrestling Observer Live and on the Sports Byline Broadcasting Network.

According to the press release issued by WWE today regarding the company’s third quarter earnings, Pay Per view buyrates were as follows for the three most recent events:

Even though Nick Hogan got dropped by his biggest sponsor (Kodak) last week and the lawsuit against him is expected at the State Attorney’s office any day now, Nick found time to appear at the SEMA car show in Vegas yesterday. Here’s what TMZ had to say about Nick’s appearance: Nick Hogan made a very public appearance with fast cars at the big SEMA car show in Las Vegas yesterday, just one day before. While his pal John Graziano remains in a coma in Florida, Hogan spent the day kibbitzing with fans in the NOPI Drift Racing Booth at the show. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, the case against Hogan could go to the State Attorney as soon as today. Meanwhile, Nick’s dad, Hulk Hogan, spent Tuesday night partying at the Playboy Club in The Palms Hotel. No word if Linda was partying with Hulk at the Playboy Club.
