A Brutus Beefcake update from the Ottawa Sun: The Barber, 50, has found inner peace. He’s happy to be blessed with a 10-year-old daughter and wife. Happy to be working for a friend’s pool business. Happy to still wrestle and meet fans. On Nov. 29, he’ll wrestle at Calgary’s Ogden Legion. On Nov. 30, he’s in Edmonton at NAIT.

Road Warrior Animal was in Ann Arbor, MI on Saturday supporting his talented son James Lauranitis, who helped lead Ohio State past rival Michigan. It was interested to note that Black Sabbath’s รข<80><9c>Ironman” was played by the bands during the course of the game.

Speaking of football, the new Smackdown vs. Raw ’08 videogame was a sponsor for the Detroit Lions vs. New York Giants game. I saw the television commercial several times during the NFL games on Sunday.

On the topic of advertisements, there are ads promoting Ric Flair at next week’s Raw in Charlotte, NC. As of a few days ago, Flair had yet received word of his return date.

For those that have asked, Matt Hardy is not injured. He was present in Ft. Myers, FL on Saturday for WWE’s house show.
