Vince Downplaying Sexuality Of The Divas, Chyna, More

Vince McMahon recently made the call to downplay the sexiness of the WWE Divas again. He made a similar call back in the spring, but it lasted for about a week. Some believe that he’s trying to book WWE in a more family friendly way since the kids audience has grown significantly while the adult audience has fallen since the Benoit murders. Internally, there is concern that the portrayal of the women as sex objects could backfire with so many major media pieces coming. Vince said that they are looking to attract viewers from every demo and for the creative team to not be short sighted in who potential viewers are.

TMZ.com has posted footage of Linda Hogan from a 2005 documentary titled “Vehicular Lunatics” illegally racing a car with daughter Brooke in the passenger seat filming the entire incident with a camera. In the video, Linda says, “Oh, I love it. I love it. The rush, the speed on the road, stereo blasting, heart-pounding, racing in between all the cars, dodging the cops. It’s awesome.” The ABC news station in Tampa confronted her about her comments and Linda said, “I never said that … I would never have said that.” Once again, YOU’RE AN IDIOT LINDA!!

SLAM! Wrestling has a story that summarizes Chyna’s rough road in Hollywood since leaving WWE in 2001. Regarding a possible return to the ring, Chyna said, “Well, I’ve never been asked. But I haven’t always been treated nicely in wrestling, so I don’t know why I would. And anyway, that’s not my ultimate goal. The ultimate goal is to do more films.”
